It begins

This blog is going to span a wide variety of genres and decades. I’ll spend some time on both vintage and fresh hip hop, funk (60s and 70s), soul music, reggae/dub/Jamaican funk/Ska, psychedelic rock/folk/pop/soul music from around the world, 50s and 60s pop music, the blues (Chicago, Delta, piano, electric, acoustic, blues-rock), Afrobeat and African pop, instrumentals from all genres with some jazz and big band music thrown in there from time to time.
